MEET VERONICA
THE WOMEN BEHIND THE STORIES
MEET THE AUTHOR
A Lifelong Storyteller
Reader, Writer, Dreamer, Creator
Veronica has always been captivated by the power of a good story: its ability to turn acquaintances and strangers into friends, and quiet evenings into entirely new worlds. For her, writing is the best way to explore those worlds and invite readers into them.
Her work spans a wide range of genres and tones. One story may blend Christian faith with warmth and humor, while another may lead readers into a chilling world of science fiction.
Veronica Seeley is the name she uses for her Christian-based stories.
Veria Osley is the name she uses for her non-Christian books.
When she is not writing, Veronica is often dreaming up new characters, testing fresh ideas, or losing track of time with friends and family.
Why She Writes
Some writers chase plot twists. Veronica chases people, the small, honest, sometimes funny moments that make a character feel real. She’d rather write one scene that makes a reader pause than ten that just move the story along.
Currently Writing
Her debut novel, Thunder Bunny, follows a girl growing up in the small town of Wadeville, and it’s just the beginning. More stories are on the way.
Faith to Fiction:
I believe the Lord has been a part of my life from the very beginning, carrying me through a difficult birth and guiding me through every chapter since. Raised in a Christian family, I always knew Him, but in 1984 I began truly following Him after my baptism, even though I spent years resisting the calling I felt placed on my life. Through my mother’s remarkable recovery in 2005, my 2007 car accident, and the changes those experiences brought, I found myself drawn deeper into learning, ministry, and writing. Writing has always been one of my greatest escapes. I’ve written numerous sermons and previously contributed to national hunting magazines. Encouraged by others to write a book, I decided to begin a new creative journey, blending faith, imagination, and storytelling. I hope these stories offer readers a chance to escape the chaos of everyday life, even if only for a little while, and remind them that God can use anyone at any age.
